ABOUT OUR COMPETITIONS
An essential way to develop debating skills is to practice competitive debating. Both individual students who sign up with us, and schools we partner with are offered access to numerous competitive debating opportunities along with access to coaching to support students as they compete.
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS OPEN
Speakers' Corner runs the Australian Schools Open - a weekly tournament that runs on Sundays evenings. The tournament is global competition with participants receiving feedback from our leading coaches.
SYDNEY SCHOOLS DEBATING COMPETITION
We convene the Sydney Schools' Debating Competition which runs on Fridays after school. Leading schools in Sydney such as Riverview, PLC, Kambala and Barker participate in the competition.

ELITE COMPETITIONS PROGRAM
Our best students are selected into our elite competitions program. They represent Speakers' Corner at international debating tournaments, and have the opportunity to debating against the best of the best.
