Oxbridge/Ivy League Minis

We host weekend tournaments in collaboration with the Harvard, Cambridge and Oxford unions. The top 4 teams at these tournaments travel to those universities to compete in the global finals

Represent Speakers' Corner

Speakers' Corner enters teams into prestigious global tournaments like the Asian Schools Open and the International Debating Championship. Join our programs, you will have an opportunity to represent us internationally. 

Sunday Evening Debating

Want to brush up on your debating skills in a weekly debating league. The Sunday Evening Tournament runs over zoom and is ideal for primary students looking for regular competitive debates!

Schools Debating Competition

SDC runs on Friday afternoons over zoom. Join leading schools like Riverview, Scots and MLC in a weekly debating league, with a minimal entry cost of $200

  • Hosted on 20th-21st July 2024

  • Teams of 2 (British Parliamentary Style)

  • Registration cost $220 per person ($440 per team), including GST. (team members must be from the same school)

  • Top 4 teams invited to attend global finals at Oxford

  • Teams of 2 (British Parliamentary Style)

  • Registration cost $440 per team (team members must be from the same school) 

  • Top 2 teams invited to attend global finals at the Cambridge Union in the UK

Sunday Evening Debating

Speakers' Corner runs a Sunday Evening Debating League - a weekly tournament that runs over zoom. The competitions is designed to give weekly practice primarily to primary age students. 

Schools Debating Competition 

We convene the Schools Debating Competition which runs on Fridays after school over zoom. Leading schools in Sydney such as Riverview, PLC, Kambala and Barker participate in the competition.
