Designed for experienced debaters, this program offers rigorous training, advanced strategy, and a competitive environment.
Located in Chatswood, Central Sydney and on Zoom (online)

What will I learn? and is this the right camp for me?
This camp will be focused entirely on comprehensive debating techniques and knowledge.
For Year 5-6:
Focus on public speaking and debating skills, enhancing communication and expression.
For Year 7-8 and Year 9+:
Intensive debating sessions to further develop skills. Involving seminars, theory, practice debates, preparation, debating exercises and all-encompassing feedback.

It is highly recommended you do the full three days to get the most out of the program.
What will I learn? and is this the right camp for me?
This camp will be focused on learning the fundamentals of debating and public speaking in an intensive short course! This three day course will help you polish your skills and create confidence in yourself, your voice and most importantly your ideas!
The camp will be split into age appropriate classes.
What will I learn about debating?
Lots of things! Throughout the program, students will learn:

Introduction to the game of debating, including the rules, speaking positions, substantive vs rebuttal, macro speech structure, argument structure, prepping, and case construction.

A deeper dive into speaking positions and rebuttal skills.

Different types of arguments, including principle vs practical arguments, followed by a Showcase Debate with parents invited to watch!

Speakers’ Corner is incredibly excited to officially launch our very first Melbourne Holiday Camp!
Join us these holidays for an intensive and engaging debating program led by some of Australia’s top university debaters and coaches.
Across the camp, students will develop confidence, public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork, and persuasive communication skills through interactive workshops, practice debates, and personalised feedback.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to meet like-minded peers, challenge yourself, and experience the energy of competitive debating.
